Untitled 3

This third digital sketch of the "Loading to absence" series, the result of the superimposition of several images created by the artist, represents a trace of memory now consumed, but still able to show the emotions felt. The boundary between abstract and figurative is lost, thus achieving an osmosis that allows the subject matter to be lightened. This slow progression toward forgetfulness moves from a situation of chromatic overbearingness to an almost total absence, to a void of memory in which, as in the Alzheimer's patient, memories blur, becoming increasingly insubstantial.
