In an era without memory, whose places (as Connerton argues) are no longer stable, we are nostalgic for the moment we have lived, which, however, ends up dissolving into a confusion of hypothetical moments. This process of damage and memorial alteration is therefore made explicit through the creative process. It involves at the same time the realization and destruction of several works that, once broken, are reassembled together, thus generating the finished work.
